Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am a People Business Partner, responsible for supporting leaders and teams to deliver organisational goals through effective people strategies. On a day-to-day basis, I work closely with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development. I partner with stakeholders to implement HR policies, drive engagement initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment legislation. My role also involves analysing workforce data, advising on organisational change, and collaborating on projects that enhance culture and capability across the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my Level 7 People Professional apprenticeship because it gives me the opportunity to deepen my strategic HR knowledge while applying it directly to my role. The programme challenges me to think critically about people practices and how they align with organisational goals, which I find both stimulating and rewarding. I particularly value the balance between theory and practical application, as it allows me to bring fresh ideas into my day-to-day work, such as improving employee engagement, supporting change initiatives, and using data to inform decisions. Overall, the programme has enhanced my confidence and capability, and I feel it’s making a real difference to how I contribute as a People Business Partner.
