Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
All the interns were added to a project, normally in pairs. You are all assigned a career coach and normally would join the work they are doing. This can include making slide decks, presenting, doing research, attending workshops and meetings.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Once I proved that I can be trusted with work, I was given lots of responsibility. For example I was tasked with developing an automated spreadsheet on excel which was handed directly to the client. I was also tasked with organising and running an internal team day. I was of course given support when I needed it.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Lots of support, although this is very dependent on which project and team you are assigned to. I was very lucky in this aspect. I know of other interns who had less support than I did.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture here at the Leeds office is great. Everyone is incredibly friendly and is always happy to help out or just have a chat. People are happy to have open and honest conversations and genuinely want the best for you.

What advice would you give to others applying to PwC
Throw yourself into the experience and speak to everyone. The more effort you put in, the more you will get out of the experience. Do not be afraid to ask questions and get involved as much as you can.
