Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My project includes learning about different softwares and applying them on real client projects. That includes but not limiting to cloud transformation and computing, data processing and analysis, data visualisation, machine learning and AI, process mining.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Absolutely. We were given the chance for shadowing different projects. Also, we are actually assigned different works to help on the projects for clients. For example, I was involved in coding part for the machine learning project.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Definitely. I have learnt more about cloud concepts through the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification. Also, I have improved my coding skills on Python while participating in a machine learning project.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
My career coach and buddy are very supportive and helpful. They have scheduled weekly catch-up to understand my progress and if there are any difficulties or questions I am facing. The directors and partners are also very friendly and are willing to reach out to us.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
All staff here is very friendly and are more willing to help. They are happy to share the connections and experiences they have. I really enjoy hybrid working here and the flexibility they provide like summer working hours.

I think equip yourself well for the interview processes and if you are able to secure an offer, make sure to be more active to seek opportunities and enjoy it!
