Overall, how would you describe your experience at Hays?
Very positive. The recruitment experience and training has been very successful and am on track for early promotion. I have had a lot of support from my fellow colleagues and have regular check-ins throughout my time here.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
sourcing and placing candidates, Business development with clients, client meetings, candidate interview and process management. I enjoy the interview selection and client interaction as it is a chance to network and grow my skillset and knowledge.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I fell I have made significant contributions in a relatively short amount of time here. already billing and establishing my name as a consultant who is meticulous to detail.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Whilst in my probation period my commission and additional benefits are not active, but this will change following a successful probation.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I feel that I am fully immersed in the recruitment world and exposed to all elements of the sales cycle.

I receive full support from a range of colleagues. I do not feel that there are any barriers to seeking additional support when I need it.

The company is vast, friendly and ambitious. It has the necessary infrastructure and community to start and support a career.

I think the placement could not have been more perfect - Policy and Strategy aligns incredibly well to my background.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Hays?
I would suggest more shadowing sessions during the training days.
