Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On this Vacation Scheme, we got to sit in a Team and act like Trainees for 2 full weeks. We got to complete normal day to day tasks and got hands-on experience with actual cases.
How would you rate the structure of the insight

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was great being able to join a team as you really got to grasp what it is like working at Clyde & Co. This also allowed you to understand what is important to a law firm and how they make their business. It was a very insightful experience and not something which you would be able to learn without being immersed in the firm's life.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Throughout this experience, I was able to develop lots of skills, including my time management and communication. This experience also allowed me to learn new skills like bundling, something which will be integral when I begin my Trainee Solicitor role.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The firm had a very inclusive and willing culture. Everyone was happy to help and answer any questions which you had. It was also clear how the firm was strong on teamwork and wanted to ensure that the best solutions for clients were always found.

I would suggest to people to be themseleves and always throw themselves at every opportunity. If you are not scared to make a mistake then you will learn so much more from this experience and have the absolute best time! This firm is a perfect place for growth and development on both a personal and professional level.
