Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role was an audit junior. Day to day I would work on the cient file, mostly on Excel and do tests on the client information

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

yes I was given full responsibility of my sections that I was allocated, but there was always support available to help when needed.

Yes, I developed my technological skills massively. I am now able to navigate around Excel and industry specific technology. I also developed my interpersonal skills within a professional environment

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of support from my line manage. I had allotted time to call him every week or 2 weeks, and I had that extra support whenever needed.
On most of the jobs I was on, I had strong support from the seniors. Occassionally due to resourcing there wasn't enough time for support needed.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

There was great company culture, different to traditional accounting firms. the strong culture is what makes me want to come back. There were lots of social events open to everyone
