Overall, how would you describe your experience at Mace?
My experience at mace has been really good, mace cares for its graduates a lot. My work environment has been very supportive and has helped me grow very quickly.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a commercial manager I do procurement, due diligence, drafting contracts and valuations. The most enjoyable of all has been procurement.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I believe my salary is fair and I also have my travel expensed fully.

The role is helping me learn how experienced commercial managers work and is equipping me with the necessary skills and network
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

My manager and the wider commercial team always take their time to teach me the necessary skills I need to take on my job, as well as giving real world advise on my job. The Mace emerging talent sessions also equip me with a lot of soft skills I need.

My manager and buddy both are very helpful and help where possible without any problems.
How is your work-life balance?

I think the working hours are normal however going to site very early can be taxing on the mental and physical health as it takes a considerable amount of time each day. however this is a necessity as its a construction role and cant be done online.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

Mace is a inclusive and positive company and have yet to ever see negative behaviour from anyone.
