Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Insight involved an Introduction into Investment Banks, the different divisions and an overview of BofA's values and principles. Two days have been designated each to GTS and Global Markets (in my case). The rest of the week also involved talks on resilience, communication practices, personal branding and inclusivity, as well as game nights. The programme was completely online, WebEx was used as the platform.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was interesting learning about the opportunities, although further research and insights into the field will definitely be needed even after the insight. Not all questions have been answered due to not very much interaction with the employees (not many networking sessions with them).

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
very inclusive and encouraging, although the diversity when it comes to different backgrounds in the degrees has not been as high as expected.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bank of America
Do your "homework" on financial knowledge and what is going on in the markets. If the next Insight will still be online, prepare for it being harder to network but do not let the higher difficulty stop you from doing is altogether.
