Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Everyday has been different due to the varied nature of the project. For the first half of it, I spent time learning from teams working on similar products. I spent time compiling my findings, often getting feedback from others and moving into the define phase for the product we were developing.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given the ability to work on a new product which felt incredibly rewarding. While my thought process has been monitored, I didn't feel micro-managed, but encouraged to use my initiative. In addition,. the freedom to socialize with other teams has given me exposure to the business.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I learned how to take an initiative when working on strategic projects. The feedback I received has been rewarding and has also increase my confidence. Similarly, having had to talk to international teams also increased my communication skills.
