Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
A fantastic first opportunity to build experience, make friends, and try a range of activities. I enjoyed most of my working days and enjoyed the social aspects.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As an engineer you have little responsibility, you're expected to work on projects that you are assigned but you have some say in which projects you are assigned to. I enjoyed the breadth of projects I got to work on and the strong culture within the office.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
4/5
Sometimes the work simply doesn't align with what you studied for or what your team represents
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
5/5
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
4/5
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
4/5

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?
5/5
How is your work-life balance?
5/5
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?
5/5
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?
3/5
Poor since KBR imposed the removal of all ERGs due to American Executive orders. The company has a lean towards white straight male, but it is improving with the younger generations.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?
3/5
Same problems caused by KBR

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Frazer-Nash Consultancy to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Offers a good introduction to work life and is a job that enables you to live your life rather than restrict it. Lots of great opportunities, a variety of fun projects to work.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
4/5
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
Focus on communicating and being social. Best skill for a consultancy environment is the ability to communicate under stress, just talk through your problem solving process and don't worry about your technical ability early.
