Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
Very positive experience. The company is very supportive and lets you grow towards the role that you want to mould for yourself.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
The variety of projects is really valuable, getting to try your hand at all sorts of different industries.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
5/5
I feel like I was working and trusted on important work within my first few weeks in the role.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
5/5
Good pay, with a clear vision of how it increases through the graduate scheme and beyond.

5/5
The graduate scheme structure is very clear and helpful to get more and more independance.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
5/5

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?
5/5
Lots of opportunities for mentorship and help through chartership.
How is your work-life balance?
5/5
The office is in a gorgeous area of the city, and I can work from home as much as I want. The hours are very standard, and we're not expected to stay later than needed.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?
4/5
Generally very good, but the american parent company KBR has had to put some policies in place to reduce queer and LGBT visibility and inclusion, to be in line with US government vision. But everyone in Franwer-Nash is very open and accepting of everyone.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?
3/5
Used to be better. They used to have various "employee resource groups", which used to be spaces for different groups (LGBTQ+, Women in STEM, veterans, etc...) to organise and recognise each other. These have now been disbanded in favour of their "All-in" initiative, where all these groups are rolled into one supergroup, which very much defeats the point. They've cancelled Movember activities as "it's discriminatory against non-men".
They kind of had their arm twisted by KBR and the US gov, but still not great.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?
5/5
They do a lot of STEM outreach activities with schools and local organisations, with good feedback from participants.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Frazer-Nash Consultancy to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I've found them to be a great company, with great opportunities, good pay, and good support from higher-ups.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
5/5
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
The soft skills are just as, if not more, important than your technical skills. A lot of consultancy is interacting with clients, and you need to be a good people-person.
