Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a Buying Admin Assistant I help with day-to-day operations of the Buying team, as well as working closely with Product Technologists, Designers and Merchandisers which is also very interesting to learn about. Daily tasks involve sample management, attending fits with models, collecting mail, admin tasks like emails and updating spreadsheets, and uploading web copy inline with product.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I am thoroughly enjoying my placement year so far and my skills have developed so much in just 6 weeks and I have met so many incredible industry professionals which is vital to networking. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, my 12-month placement is being cut short to just 2-3 months due to mass redundancy within the company.

What advice would you give to others applying to N Brown Group
The people are amazing so I would recommend N Brown as a work place but it is important to be mindful of redundancy in any business, do your research into recent changes which may have happened before you apply.
