Industrial Sourcing Placement Review

My role is assist my sourcing manager to manager internal and external communication with stakeholders and also help the project to decide sourcing decision and strategy.
On day-to-day base, mainly is checking the news, write report, check emails and communicate with suppliers. Attend the design brief, sign out or other meeting to understand the project team.

Yes, I was given to take ownership of those project as part of sourcing team.
-monthly sourcing report
-quarterly supplier business updates
-quarterly internal sourcing newsletter
-supplier visits agenda and hospitality
-initial supplier communication (include calculate margins)

-communication skills with different levels of business and build my confidence
-time management and data management as I needed to organised meeting and need to manage data before handing other departments

Yes, quarterly check in from company and also monthly check in from university. Also, I faced the issues, my apartment was closed down because of the fire but my team was very supportive and allow me to work from home or provide other supports as well
