Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at CBRE Group?
Overall the support as a graduate is good. Main support is from my individual team, rather than next generation team for graduates/apprentices. Next gen team has useful support for APC/industry qualifications. Good experience within the sector, gaining hands on experience and working on live projects. Chartered members of the teem keen to engage and get you to support them on jobs for experience.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a building surveyor main responsibilities vary depending on job type. Mix of leading smaller jobs and assisting chartered members of the team on larger jobs. Enjoy all aspects of the role including, report writing for planned preventative maintenance and building surveys, reviewing license for alternations, negotiating dilapidations and managing contract admin jobs.
