Overall, how would you describe your experience at NatWest Group?
Amazing place to work. People are not only very friendly but also very supportive. Work life balance is fantastic. Many different roles you can get involved in from product teams, to strategy to technical finance and investments, to markets sales trading and structuring. Relationship management. Back office. Something for everyone. Great culture, opportunities to do side of desk work and projects. Take ownership of teams and committees. Volunteering. Sustainability. Amazing place to work I’m very lucky.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Getting started a lot of it is learning, handling communications between different teams, fetching information, ortanising meetings, applying analysis for monitoring data, exploring opportunities for us whether this be efficiency opportunities or monitoring customer behaviour financial resillience or our monitoring risk in our own operations.

Sometimes it difficult to get integrated properly into teams as we are only there for 6 months. I have found this useful as this was my first role in a corporate and so I struggled to take on lots of responsibility to begin with. Now I take on more. You will rotate across 4 teams so team involvement will vary.
