Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
It's been really positive, everyone is really supportive and happy to chat- even coworkers who are a lot higher up in the organisation. The early careers team is great too, they care a lot about our development and have lots of opportunities for us to get involved with- like socials and knowledge sharing sessions
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As FNC is a consultancy, I have the opportunity to work on multiple different projects which allows me to learn many different skills which I really enjoy. Some projects I get tot work on earlier stages whereas some projects I am helping to present the findings to clients.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
5/5
My team are great- they really go out of their way to help me in all aspects and have gotten me involved in many different projects.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
5/5
The pay is quite good, plus there is a sign on bonus as well which is appreciated. The work is really flexible and you're not expected to do overtime
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
5/5
Really well, FNC gives you the opportunity to specialise or generalise into any sector which is really good. I personally am staying more broad in terms of sectors and work however I know people who are specialising more into defence/aerospace.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
5/5
I have learnt so much in the past couple months- I have been on multiple formal courses, for example a technical report writing course and I am going on a presentation skills course soon. For my day-to-day role I have learnt so much as every day is completely different.

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?
5/5
This is the most supportive company I have heard of. Everyone has taken the time to support me from my line manager, immediate team, wider engineering team, SLT, early careers etc.
How is your work-life balance?
5/5
Really good, due to the flexible nature of the job it is easy to take a couple hours off to go to an appointment or work from your parents house if you're visiting them. Also, people can start work from between 7am and 10am which really allows everyone h=to have a working day which works for them.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?
5/5
We have an initiative called 'All In' which celebrates everyone's differences and hosts events and shares knowledge about all different cultures, disabilities, well-being initiatives etc. I am getting involved with the planning of IMD for November and I have met so many people whilst doing this.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?
5/5
I understand that engineering tends to be a more male dominated field however there are a wide range of people at FNC. Everyone seems to be open and non-judgemental which is really refreshing.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?
5/5
Really good, we have lots of sustainable projects going on at the minute, as well as different charitable initiatives.
