Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
Welcoming, helpful atmosphere with supportive chartership schemes. A higher salary and more consistent workflow would be preferable but that is largely applicable to most graduate jobs.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Nuclear Safety. Design substantiation. Asset management solutions (manufacturing based). Environmental safety. Consulting.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
4/5
I would like to contribute more in a consulting and mechanical design capacity but I am able to provide meaningful work otherwise.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
3/5
The benefits package and remuneration could be better but for a graduate role it seems to be above average.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
5/5
Very good for managing multiple packages of work at one time, satisfying clients, adhering to ISO standards and adjusting to corporate life.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
4/5
A broad spectrum of training is provided.

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?
5/5
Very attentive managers catering to everyone's needs.
How is your work-life balance?
4/5
Not excessive hours. Good policy for time in lieu/overtime.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?
4/5
Generally good. Could have more formalised meet and greets with senior members but this is being brought in, to a degree.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?
4/5
Good company attitude, despite parent company.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?
3/5
Have not explored these myself so unsure.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Frazer-Nash Consultancy to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Good balance of work/life/professional development.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
4/5
Was anticipating more client facing and design specific work but this is arising more for me now that I have more experience.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
Highlight your communication and working style strengths as well as adaptability. Consider the fact you'll be working with demanding clients who require concision and clarity, as will your colleagues.
