Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Frazer-Nash Consultancy?
Its a really good company, the work is interesting and there is a huge amount of learning that goes along with the graduate scheme.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I work on a client project where I am supporting them launching a new competency framework which we have designed for them. I enjoy how different every day is and that I get to complete courses alongside my role.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I feel very valued, I am able to partake in all lots of different types of work to extend my experience and knowledge for the future.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

They are part of the armed forces covenant act which mean I am able to continue with my reserve career, I have private health care, ride to work scheme and there are various other discounts we get with our role.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I feel being part of a consultancy sets me up well for my career in the future as I am able to work across lots of different industries and discover what type of work I enjoy doing most.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

I have 4 hours of training a week as well as being loaded onto various other courses.

How is the support you receive?

I have a Line manager, a mentor and a buddy so there is a huge amount of support received from various people in the business. I also have multiple calls a week I have organised with different people in the company and they are always willing to support me.
How is your work-life balance?

The work life balance is good, there a lot of socials that go on outside of work with the other graduates which helps to make us feel more included and meet new people.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

There is a good culture in the company which is mainly surrounded by their focus on the people who work there.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

As part of their 'All in' they organise various meet ups and groups to support people within the company.
How would you rate Frazer-Nash Consultancy CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

They have a STEM hub which focuses on helping educate children in schools across the country and they pay us for half of our volunteering hours we do.

Its a really innovative and exciting company the type of work they do is cutting edge and the people in the company are passionate about what they deliver. You turn up to work because you know what you are doing matters and to me that is a pivotal part of work life. Feeling like you have a purpose.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

I was a part of the company prior to starting on the graduate scheme so I knew what it would be like.

Be yourself, show your interests and be personable, AI is not a quick fix for getting into work they want to know what you are like. This is a key part of being a consultant.
