Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

During my internship at Lloyds Banking Group, my role was focused on supporting the planning and implementation of projects that help improve business processes, technology systems, and customer experiences across the organisation.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given a good level of responsibility during my internship, which allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the team while developing my professional skills. Although I was supported by my line manager and colleagues, I was trusted to take ownership of specific tasks and deliverables within ongoing change projects.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Yes, during my internship I developed a range of both technical and interpersonal skills. I improved my ability to work effectively within a team, communicate clearly with colleagues, and manage my time when balancing multiple tasks. I also gained a better understanding of how projects are delivered in a large organisation, which helped me strengthen my organisational and problem-solving skills.

I received a good amount of support and guidance throughout my internship. My line manager and team were always approachable and willing to help whenever I had questions or needed clarification.
