I worked as part of the process mining team, in which we conducted data analysis of business processes using a tool called Blue Prism. There was also the task of building training materials to train others in using the tool.

I was part of a very small team and was actively involved in creating training materials and leading analysis, and I received a recognition award for bridging a network with another business unit within the bank.

I developed the required skills to succeed in business, which include soft skills such as communication, networking, and presenting. This had allowed me to gain confidence to pursue my personal interests by actively seeking support and help from experienced professionals, which has allowed me to grow. I also worked on a niche product, which has heightened my critical thinking and analysis skills. I am now in a position where I understand the new skills I need to succeed farther.

I had active support from my manager, who sat alongside me from day 1 and allowed me to settle in while working in such a fast-paced working environment. I had also had support my wider netowrk through netowrking who gave me opportunities to work within other teams to gain farther expereince.

Lloyds are very supportive of ideas and initiatives that you want to take. I had the opportunity to participate in hackathons and wider team events, which I really enjoyed. People are always very warm and welcoming and willing to provide a helping hand anytime.

I enjoyed my placement very much, as I had made very close friends whom I am in close contact with and who have helped me grow and learn. The company are very people-focused with a lot of opportunities to relax and learn. In fact, it went above and beyond my expectations.
