Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My placement was in risk, specially credit risk modeling. A day to day role consisted off monitoring, calibrating and maintaining capital and operational credit risk models
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
At the start of my placement I was given simple tasks. But as my placement progressed I was given much more responsibility, with plenty of opportunities to present key work to a variety of senior stakeholders.

I received ample support during my placement with a buddy (another analyst) to support any needs I have and a line manager who would answer any queries I may have had.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture was not what I expected. You were only expected to be in office 2 days a week, with the office becoming very quiet past 5pm!
