Overall, how would you describe your experience at Forvis Mazars?
Overall, my experience at Forvis Mazars has been really positive. I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and continue developing professionally. The culture is supportive, and I’ve appreciated the emphasis on learning and growth. I'm especially enjoying the exposure to advisory work and areas like R&D tax, which align well with my interests.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
In my role as a Senior Tax Executive, my main responsibilities include:
Preparing and reviewing tax computations for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Advising clients on tax planning opportunities and technical matters.
Collaborating with different teams, especially on advisory and transaction-related work.
Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development.
Staying updated on changes in tax legislation and applying them effectively.
The elements I enjoy most are:
Advisory work, especially when it involves complex problem-solving and strategic thinking.
R&D tax projects, which allow me to combine my technical background in robotics with tax expertise.
Client interaction, where I can build relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
Working with cross-functional teams, which keeps the work dynamic and collaborative.
