Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at NatWest Group?
It was a really good experience, filled with numerous learning opportunities. I got an exposure of working in different areas and interacting with a lot of teams. My experience was further enhanced due to my involvement in one of the graduate councils within the bank.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I completed multiple rotations, which were focused around credit risk models (development and validation). It was a very niche program, which enabled me to develop in-depth knowledge about the world of credit risk modelling. I enjoyed the validation rotation the most, as it gave me an opportunity to work with regulations and testing various models. In comparison to the development placements, validation placement provided me with more exposure and insights.
