Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Computacenter?
Overall, my experience at Computacenter has been extremely positive. The graduate programme is well-structured and gives me exposure to a variety of business areas, allowing me to build both technical and sales skills. I appreciate how supportive the culture is — having mentors, buddies and regular contact with senior leadership has helped me feel valued and guided. The emphasis on collaboration and continuous learning makes me confident that I’m growing in a company that invests in people. Working here has not just been about hitting targets, but about developing professionally and personally.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a Sales Associate on the graduate programme, my main responsibilities include supporting the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers and partners, and contributing to proposals and presentations. I also collaborate closely with different internal teams to ensure we deliver the best solutions for our clients.
What I enjoy most is the customer-facing aspect of the role — building relationships and understanding client needs is incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy the variety and pace, as no two days are the same, and I’m constantly learning about new technologies and solutions that help customers achieve their goals.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
5/5
My role gives me plenty of opportunities to contribute meaningfully and feel valued within the team. Even as a graduate, I’m trusted with real responsibilities and my input is taken seriously in discussions and projects. I’m encouraged to share ideas and take ownership of tasks, which makes me feel like a genuine part of the team rather than just an observer. The support and recognition from colleagues and managers also help build my confidence and reinforce the value I bring to the team’s success.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
4/5
I feel that my compensation package, including the salary, perks and benefits, is fair and competitive for a graduate role in the industry. The package reflects the responsibility and opportunities the role offers, and benefits such as professional development support, wellbeing resources, and flexible working arrangements add real value beyond salary alone. I also appreciate that there is a clear progression structure, which motivates me to continue growing and contributing within the company.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
5/5
I feel that the role is preparing me very well for my future career. The graduate programme provides a solid foundation in both sales and the wider technology industry, helping me develop key skills such as communication, relationship building, and strategic thinking. I’m also gaining valuable exposure to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, which gives me a clear understanding of how complex business solutions are delivered. The combination of hands-on experience, structured learning, and ongoing support is equipping me with the confidence and capability to progress in my career.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
5/5
I would rate the extent of my skills development as very strong. The combination of formal training sessions and hands-on experience in my day-to-day role has allowed me to build new skills while also strengthening existing ones. The structured learning provided through the graduate programme has enhanced my understanding of sales processes, technology solutions, and communication strategies, while real-world projects give me the chance to apply and refine those skills in a practical setting. This balance ensures that I’m continually learning and progressing in a meaningful way.
