Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
During my internship as a Network Support Engineer at Cisco Meraki, my day-to-day role primarily involved working on customer cases via phone and email, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Alongside this, I contributed to internal projects, including developing tools and resources designed to improve efficiency and support for other engineers. This balance gave me exposure to real time customer interaction as well as longer-term problem-solving and technical development.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
We were given our own cases to manage and work on as well as being tasked to develop a tool to help workflows for other engineers so I would say we were given lots of responsibilities but it never felt overwhelming as the mentorship programme was very supportive.
