Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
At my short time at matalan I think was given the opportunity to explore the different roles available within the marketing industry. I had one to one sessions with a mixture of people giving me an insight into their specific role and responsibilities. I found my time very intresting and insightful and it also gave me a taster of day to day life working at matalan and I would encourage anyone to take this opportunity
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
My short time at matalan meant I only had a glimpse of what impact specific roles had, however these small glimpses were really interesting and educational and put in a way that was understandable

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone at matalan made me feel very welcome and comfortable. There is a very happy atmosphere within the company which made my time more enjoyable

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
My small time was enjoyable. However I feel if my placement was longer it would’ve been even better as I would have had more time to explore deeper the roles rather than just being there to listen and read
