Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I supported the front office by analysing energy market data and building tools for trade and risk reporting. Day-to-day this involved looking at positions, P&L, risk metrics, and programming data.

Yes, I was given responsibility during my internship. While support was always available, I felt trusted to take ownership of tasks and my work had a direct impact on my team.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at EDF Trading. It was highly rewarding as it allowed me to develop my technical skills, build on my industry knowledge, and complete an impactful project.
