Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

This role involves sales monitoring and analysis (daily and events), market + competitor analysis, event support, market research and cross-departmental communication.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, for instance I was put in charge to lead the writing of reports, and also had high levels of autonomy when carrying out other tasks for major projects of the team.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Massively developed my competency of dealing with large quantities of data. Also improved my digital skills immensely, particularly my excel skills and abilities to work with AI tools.
Cross-departmental communication was also something that was further acquired here.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

To a very large extent as it was very fruitful in terms of the job content, the skill development and the social aspect. I was also impressed by the depth and breadth of things that I could be involved in as an intern.
