Overall, how would you describe your experience at Latham & Watkins?
I have had a great experience at Latham so far. I did my vacation scheme here a few years ago and it was an incredible experience. The exposure to diverse practice areas and the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals made me choose to stay. The firm's commitment to fostering a supportive environment has made my time here even more enjoyable - I never feel like I can't ask someone a question or reach out for a chat, regardless of their level of seniority.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a trainee at Latham & Watkins, my main responsibilities include assisting with legal research, drafting documents, and supporting senior lawyers in various transactions and cases.
The elements of the role I enjoy the most are the exposure to a wide range of practice areas through the various seats and the opportunity to work on high-profile cases.
