Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
Savills has an exceptional company culture that truly sets it apart. The people are the heart of the business, creating a fantastic and supportive work environment. The directors, in particular, are highly accessible and committed to their team's success. They consistently dedicate their time to mentor and guide employees, no matter how small or insignificant the question may seem. This culture of approachability and open communication fosters a strong sense of community. The office I work in, embodies a genuine team-oriented spirit, making it a truly collaborative and enjoyable place to work.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I am currently sitting in the business space team and have only completed one rotation, but I've already gained an insight into the world of office agency.
My main responsibilities included:
Conducting viewings: I regularly accompanied clients on property viewings, providing them with detailed information about the space and the local area.
Drafting heads of terms: I learned to prepare and negotiate the initial legal agreements between landlords and tenants.
Leasing and marketing: I was responsible for creating marketing materials for available properties and updating property databases to ensure our listings were accurate and appealing.
Market research: I spent a lot of time researching market trends, recent deals, and competitor activity to help the team provide the most up-to-date advice to clients.
What I enjoyed most about the role was the fast-paced nature of the work and the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of people. Every day was different, whether I was out on viewings, negotiating a deal, or working with the wider team.
