Overall, how would you describe your experience at AstraZeneca?
My experience at AstraZeneca has been amazing to promote my career in science and allow me to explore areas of the biopharmaceutical industry that I am passionate about.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My first rotation was in oncology data science, where I used ML/AI models to stratify paediatric brain tumour patients. This was a great opportunity to be exposed to the world of data science and work with large clinical datasets.
My current rotation in functional genomics where I am developing a bioinformatic pipeline to analyse CRISPR data.
