We were given lots of tasks and responsibilities as well as some super interesting longer term projects that had genuine impact on the teams.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Was provided an amazing amount of support and guidance throughout the internship. We got feedback after each desk rotation and after any kind of assessment we had; the feedback was constructive and incredibly helpful. Senior people were always willing to give interns the time and aid in our learning and development.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Culture at HSBC is absolutely fantastic. It's kind, warm, and welcoming - across all levels of the business/across all titles from intern to CEO. It really stands out in an industry that can often get a bad rep on culture. The intern class was also a super fun and sociable group!
