Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role involved digital marketing and E-Commerce ensuring brand website was fully updated with new products and ensuring and engaging customer experience on all ED2C and retailer sites. Also led product launches from a digital perspective working closely with international stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective launches.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, from day one we were given work that would allow us to learn on the job and given responsibilties which directly affected business outcomes.

I have developed many soft skills such as communication, organisation and inter-personal skills as well as more practical skill such as a better understanding of platforms such as PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Workfront.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The culture is one of work hard play hard, everyone was very professional and hard working but also understood the importance of personal connection and building a network within the business and beyond. The atmosphere is welcoming, free-thinking and supportive.
