Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a private capital audit intern I primarily aided in the fieldwork stage of the audit. Helping out with bank/cash/purchase order/invoice test etc.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, over the four weeks I was given a lot of responsibility. This involved being allocated specific task, asking clients questions both in person and online, and attending team meetings.

We were allocated a buddy who was with us the entire journey. Alongside this we had a people manager/ in charge for each client we worked on

It was very inclusive and welcoming, they hosted many team events. Everyone in the firm seemed like a big family.
