Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
During my internship, I gained hands-on experience working on a variety of client projects within the actuarial private team. I was given more responsibility than expected, which provided a valuable insight into the graduate role and helped me develop key professional skills.
Participated in technical actuarial work including ATT calculations and transfer value (TV) funding updates.
Collaborated with interns across offices in Birmingham, Edinburgh, and London on a project to update internal training modules.
Took part in several charity challenges, contributing to team efforts beyond client work.
Received comprehensive training at the start of the internship and benefited from a highly supportive team culture, with guidance from graduates through to managers.
