Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As an Actuarial Consulting Pensions Intern, I support client teams by performing pension calculations, attending internal meetings, and maintaining audit trails. I also occasionally help draft reports for clients, contributing to the delivery of clear and accurate actuarial advice.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a significant amount of responsibility in my role, with a steady stream of delegated work across multiple client teams. I was thoroughly trained and trusted to handle important tasks independently, allowing me to contribute meaningfully to various projects throughout my internship.
