Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Completed basic actuarial tasks, learnt from senior members and graduates. Worked with other interns across the UK on a presentation which was presented in London (Global HQ).
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Not a huge amount due to the type of work in this field. I did have the responsibility of completing my own work in time and ensuring it was complete to a high standard.

I have significantly strengthened my confidence, independence, and communication skills. Also, PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft applications. I improved my Teamwork and leadership.

The support was amazing, my team was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone always made time to answer questions thoroughly and help me until I understood. On a greater scale, everyone at Aon is very friendly and see everyone as equal.
