Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Working in first direct bank I was involved in supporting business operations, this included assessing business performance relative to targets and projections, analysing vulnerable customer data and making improvement suggestions, upskilling on AI and presenting findings to leadership, taking part in a summer-long intern project to create a video showcasing our experiences and development

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given lots of responsibility from early on in my placement, making me feel empowered and valued.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is brilliant, we strive to get it done but in a friendly inclusive atmosphere where we trust each other to get it done. Socially, the office isn't in the city centre, so there aren't as many outside of work social opportunities as there could be
