Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My Role consists of daily scrum calls to track, reflect and plan my progress alongside my team with their support. I initially had a series of personal projects to help me learn and understand our role and deliverables within the team prior to progressing to a series of tasks and opportunities to deploy to production and make an impact within my team
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I feel I was given ample responsibility that allowed me to constructively grow as a junior software engineer. Whilst working towards deadlines I always have the support of my team allowing me a forum to ask any questions and receive any help required to deliver my work effectively, timely and to a high-standard

I have developed a multitude of skills with one of the most vital being the ability to explain and elaborate effectively on my work, presenting it clearly and giving updates daily which will be vital going forward in my career

I received an enormous amount of support and guidance from both my team and other teams across the floor, their efforts have been invaluable to my development and progress during my internship

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company has an emphasis on celebrating all cultures and diversities, with inclusive toilets in every office, free sanitary products, multi-cultural societies and events to learn about and meet people from all different backgrounds, and so much more. It is an environment everyone can feel welcome.
