Producing decks for clients and internally.
Used significant amount of PPT and XLS to compile these deck, conveying company information, financial information etc, for these purposes.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes.
Built a BP and AVP from scratch, alongside a DCF, WACC, and other financials that were shared with clients. Was surprised by this as many peers from other banks didn't touch a financial model during their summer internship.
