Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I interned in the Competition Law team and assisted with various tasks. I did legal research, prepared regulation and precedent spreadsheets, assisted in reviewing agreements from a competition law perspective, helped advise the business on competition law matters and checked the work of AI.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was not given much responsibility, which is something I wanted to. Perhaps the role itself did not lend itself for much responsibility at such an early stage.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed my internship to a great extent. Great learning opportunity but I wish I would have gotten more responsibility. However, I am aware of the limits on the responsibility I could take as a result of the team I was in.
