Day to day involved a standup with the team, working on a dedicated project, meeting with buddies and mentors, listening to senior speaker series webinars directed just to interns

We were given a project to design, build, test, implement, and present - working in a team.

Built on existing software engineering skills and devloped particually in seeking help, diagnosing problems and getting support. Learnt a whole range of new technical skills, using a new tech stack I was fairly unfamiliar with

Plenty - we had a daily stand up to keep us in the loop and supported, as well as a number of buddies and engineers who we could go to if we needed support

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The culture was the best part, everyone was supportive and relaxed, there was no unrealistic expectations or rules - the office atmosphere was welcoming, candid informal catchups as well as more structured formal meetings, everyone was very willing to take time out of their day for a coffee chat, to learn more about their career or network
