Digital Transformation Intern Review

Working on a placement project over 8 weeks, alongside a group intern project and some time placed in for self-led learning and growing skills.

Enough responsibility as an intern. I felt the work I did was able to make a positive impact to the team.

Natwest really pushed learning new skills. I have been able to develop my networking skills through working closely with my team and having conversations with other departments. Through a presentation workshop I was able to develop my presenting skills which I could showcase through the final intern presentation. It has really grown my confidence and communication skills. Through the self-led learning afternoon I was also able to develop Excel skills.

I had the option of a daily conversation with my manager to cover any queries. The whole team was extremely supportive and answered any questions I had. Overall, a really supportive environment.

The company culture was so inclusive, I didn't just feel like an intern in my team I felt apart of the team. The intern cohort was friendly, and I felt I could get along with everyone, the social atmosphere was brilliant. The atmosphere is professional but relaxed, I felt I could be myself. Overall, a good environment to work in and feel like you can be comfortable but also be pushed and challenged.

I really enjoyed the internship. It helped me develop skills I will be using throughout the rest of my future career, and also allowed me to expand my network.
