I worked assisted the advocacy team on both paid and love activations, including paid influencer content, influencer and press events and mailers.

I made it clear from the beginning that I wanted to take ownership of projects, to be able to see a job through from the beginning to the end. I owned the mailer process, seeing the send-out of products to influencers and press from from initial briefing stages to final approvals. I spearheaded the entire data management and reporting process for our advocacy team, encompassing the collection, rigorous formatting, and timely distribution of monthly brand performance data.

Data management skills, organisational skills, excel skills, knowledge on the beauty industry.

I had weekly meetings with my line manager and with members of my wider team. However, I always felt comfortable to approach any member of my team outside of these meetings and regularly scheduled in additional catch-ups depending on the work required that week.

The company always ensured that there were lots of opportunities to get involved and socialise with those outside of your team/division.
