Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Developing a model which does multi objective optimisation for lead optimisation in antibodies ie. intelligently searching a large space of sequences for the best sequences which fulfil multiple objectives. Working together with 3 AI engineers in Barcelona to implement this and write a paper. I generally spend my day coding.

Yes, contributed my own written code to their coding repositories, writing a paper on my findings

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It is very big so it's hard to get to know people but the people in the CAI (Center for AI) are all very nice despite being remote. I do feel like a small fish in a big sea in the office in Cambridge though as there are too many people and nobody introduces themselves to you.
