I worked within the OPEX complaints team as a complaints specialist.
I helped fish for and manage supplier deviations.
I helped edit SOPs and write guidance documents.
Helped introduce automation into the OPEX complaints team to remove admin jobs.
Was an intake agent for 3PS complaints - mediating communication between AZ sites and external customers.
Conducted a time study to analyse complaint metrics
Conducted a right first time study to analyse supplier deviation reporting by AZ sites and did problem solving sessions to improve this.

Yes I was given lots of responsibility - I was able to manage and close my own supplier deviations, edit SOPs, write guidance documents and mediate communication with 3PS customers.

I have developed my communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
Also have gained skills in Excel, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.

I received lots of support and guidance from both my manager and the wider team.

The company culture was very good. Within External Quality, staff organised lots of different social events to help people bond and create more of a team spirit and promote collaboration.

I really enjoyed my internship. I sometimes was a bit bored and had little/no work to do and sometimes felt a bit frustrated as I was only being given admin tasks rather than proper projects.
I would have liked the opportunity to be given more responsibility within the team rather than doing menial admin work that other people do not want to do.
