Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My day to day task involved legal research, legal drafting, case analysis and completing ad hoc task to support fee earners. I was also exposed to client matters through attending client meetings and preparing clients presentations. Overall, no two days were the same as I got involved with varied legal tasks!
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a decent amount of responsibility. I was allowed to carry out my tasks independently but also had the opportunity to reach out to supervisors and buddies for guidance. I would say the level of responsibility increases when the team starts to trust you with more tasks and how long gone you are in your internship

I felt like I received a lot of support and guidance as each intern had their two- man support system. Nonetheless, the support and guidance was not limited to these people as other people in the office were generally happy to help and answer any questions.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone is so friendly and approachable. The company culture echoes “working together” and the general atmosphere is relaxed but professional.
