Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Review

The corporate banking role involves credit analysis, relationship management and an understanding of the bank's products.
The role I had as an intern was incredibly varied, so on a daily basis it could involve creating client or internal decks, attending meetings, undertaking approvals for various transactions as well as summarising results and understanding client trends, and distributing it to the team.

I was given sufficient responsibility but always had a a great team and support system around me.

I have further developed my communication, time management and prioritisation skills to deliver tasks and projects in a timely manner.
I have overall developed an understanding of the role of a corporate banker and the various products that can be offered to clients through some incredible and structured trainings throughout the internship.

I was provided with a lot of support, I had a very engaging and helpful manager, a buddy in my team, a buddy in another team as well as a summer specialist, allowing me to have a network of support and guidance at all times.
As well as the above, the team I interned in were all incredibly helpful and supportive!

Strong sense of team work and collaboration, the team culture was great, everyone was so friendly, helpful and incredibly welcoming!

I really enjoyed my internship. I felt that everyday I had opportunities to learn something new, develop skills and work on a variety of tasks that kept me stimulated and engaged.
