Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
A significant learning opportunity arose from a client pitching initiative, where I delved into market products and derivatives. This involved preparing and delivering a pitch, followed by an intensive Q&A session designed to simulate real client meetings. This exercise not only deepened my product knowledge but also significantly honed my presenting skills, a universally valuable asset.
Furthermore, I have enhanced my confidence within a corporate environment. I've also developed a strong sense of accountability and punctuality, understanding the critical importance of being prepared and on time for every situation, whether it's arriving at the office or attending meetings. These disciplines are invaluable for professional success.

Crucially, the culture promoted both responsibility and recognition. Interns were given meaningful tasks, and contributions were acknowledged across the team, fostering a sense of belonging and accountability. Furthermore, there was a clear focus on networking and building relationships, with opportunities for social interaction after work, which helped integrate me into the team and the broader private bank community.
