Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I perform/work on "evidence gathering activities" primarily focusing on pensions. This largely includes communication with the client, followed by the review of information/data and documentation. There are several stages, thus the work can vary per engagement. We additionally perform some form of testing where determined to be necessary.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I quite enjoy the programme as it allows for us to leave behind an environment solely focused on studying and experience the practical aspects. The working environment in also good giving us the freedom to work how we're most productive. Additionally, I'm glad to be on the programme with my peers.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learned many technical skills and knowledge surrounding the field of audit. I've also developed my own skills such as project/time management, research, testing, communication, etc. Many of which are transferrable thus gaining further benefit.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It's very well structured, and in contrast to other universities, allows us to complete our exams before which in turns allows us to solely focus on work after their completion.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There's not really any lack of support. There are several people in place from mentors, to career coaches, to more experienced peers who'd followed the same path allowing us to reach out for support in many ways.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Well we are provided all the necessary materials and, again, the course is structured in such a way that we can solely focus on our exams/qualifications and our work at different times.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has helped in understanding the documents, figures, policies, principles and so forth, which in turns has aided me in completing my work. My qualifications have help me transition from studying to practically applying my knowledge on placement.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are several events, ranging from social, sports as well as charitable events which do allow for the department to get to know one another better. I would say social events could be improved to be made more inclusive as they are often alcohol related (either in activity or environment).

They provide a good working environment and support structure to help you develop. There's also many routes to take once within the company.

Conduct your research, look at the company values, and reach out to those in the position you'd like to be in so as to get the best advice.
